A typical Dream Walls project starts with an early morning on the first day of your project. The cut-out and framing team arrives and installs a support wall that is also a barrier to keep dust at a minimum. The ream removes any doors or windows on the affected wall and begins the removal of the stucco, drywall and existing framing. When the opening is clear the team installs an engineered LVL beam system with all straps, hold-downs and shear to code or above.

Mid-morning on the first day the electrician arrives to reroute and relocate the existing electrical and will at that time route new lines for added GFCI’s on the exterior and add any switched needed for exterior or interior lighting.

Early afternoon the Door install team arrives and will begin the grinding and leveling of the existing stem wall for true and level operation of your new door system. Your new door is installed with vapor-battier to code and is leveled and balances for perfect operation.

Day 2 begins with restoration which includes adding insulation to code. The drywall and stucco replacement begins this day and will usually take 4-5 days to complete. Our drywall and stucco teams are masters at matching existing textures aa close as can be expected. Your only job is to paint, and sometimes flooring touch up.
